Nerves - tests, exams, presentations and speeches
Are you feeling anxious about sitting an exam or test?
Do you have to give a presentation or speech and feel sick at the thought?
Does the thought of taking your driving test send you into a nervous panic?
It’s perfectly natural for us to feel some level of stress or anxiety when faced with sitting an exam, making a presentation at work, giving a speech at a friend’s wedding or taking a driving test. We might experience butterflies in the stomach, a racing heart, sweating palms, bright red face….and sometimes that anxiety can impact on our ability to perform.
Overcoming your negative thoughts and patterns
This is where hypnotherapy can help. Your mind is made up of your conscious mind and your subconscious mind. Your conscious mind is the thinking, logical part of your mind – the part that plans, analyses and sets goals. Your subconscious mind is the part of your mind that stores all your beliefs, habits and learned behaviours – many of these things you’re not even aware of. This part of your mind may hold fears and doubts that are getting in your way of success. We can talk directly to your subconscious mind in order to reduce nerves and anxiety, boost confidence and gain clarity and focus.
Achieving your goal
Imagine feeling relaxed, calm and confident as you walk into that exam, sit in that car or stand up to that speech. Imagine being able to recall all necessary information and techniques. Imagine being able to perform to the absolute best of your ability. A couple of hypnotherapy sessions may be all that's needed to help you release any fears and old conditioning and let go of performance anxiety in order to be able to master your goal.
