Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis in order to facilitate positive change. Hypnosis is incredibly safe and is simply a relaxed state of awareness which brings your subconscious mind to the fore.
Whilst your conscious mind is in charge of thinking, analysing and logic, your subconscious is where you hold your beliefs, memories, experiences, behaviours and habits. Your subconscious mind becomes a model for how you will behave in the future; creating a ‘programme’ of future responses based on past experiences. That’s why we often behave in certain ways or get stuck in bad habits – they are just programmed into our subconscious and we keep following the programme without being aware that we’re doing it.
Within hypnosis we can access this part of your mind to create new, more helpful 'programmes'. All of my hypnotherapy sessions are conducted via Zoom. It works in exactly the same way as face-to-face sessions and many of my clients prefer this as they can relax more easily in their own homes.

PAY AS YOU GO SESSIONS
Pay as you go sessions may be best for you if you have a simple change you'd like to make. Or if you'd simply like to experience hypnosis as a way to relax. Get in touch to find out if pay as you go sessions may be most suitable for you.
PACKAGE OF SIX SESSIONS
For most clients, packages are a more cost-effective option. You pay upfront at a reduced rate for a series of six sessions and will also have the benefit of any additional resources such as recordings, information sheets and self-guided tools.
QUIT SMOKING SESSION
The quit smoking session is 90 minutes in length, comprising of a focused conversation about your smoking habits and reasons for quitting followed by a powerful hypnosis session. Get in touch to find out more.

How does it work?
Most people describe being in hypnosis as feeling incredibly relaxed, but also acutely aware. You are in complete control and will only enter hypnosis if you want to. And you can’t get ‘stuck’ in hypnosis. Likewise you can’t be made to do anything you don’t want to do! It’s a very safe and natural process.
There are different techniques we can use when you’re in hypnosis from the straight-forward approach of planting positive and helpful suggestions into your mind to a more psychoanalytical approach. The approach we take will depend entirely on your personal situation and needs.
